The E9-1-1 Information Management System is a robust, automated, relational database management system that acts like a “Watchdog” over your 9-1-1 data sets.
This system takes the data you use every day in processing 9-1-1 calls and utilizes it to perform automated
checks of incoming call data and provide you with “real-time” alerts, identifying which component of
your 9-1-1 data stream is in need of attention.
E9-1-1 Information Management System Modules:
Watchdog Monitor(WM) – The WM module is a real time listening system, capturing data in real time as each call is received by the PSAP for call processing. The data is housed in a database which identifies and separates the data into specific data sets that 9IMS can use when performing data analysis.
Wireline Maintenance System(WMS) – The WMS module is designed to use the tools associated with wireline 9-1-1 call processing. For Example: ESN, Master Street Addressing Guide(MSAG), Trunk ID's, Company ID, Class of Service etc.
Wireless Tower Maintenance System(WTMS) – The WTMS module is designed to use the tools associated with both wireline and wireless 9-1-1 call processing. For Example: all components used by WMS plus Tower address, Company ID, ESRK, ESRD, etc.
Voice over Internet Protocol Maintenance System(VMS) – The VMS module is designed to use the tools associated with wireline, wireless and Voice over Internet Protocol 9-1-1 call processing. For Example all components used by WMS and WTMS are used to check data elements within VoIP calls.
Wall Map 9-1-1(WM9-1-1) – The WM9-1-1 module is designed to take 9-1-1 call information received and provide a real time display of 9-1-1 call activity. Call delivery methodology will be identified by an icon that is specific to the technology used to deliver the 9-1-1 call to the PSAP. Other informational items may be displayed including, cameras, weather information, traffic conditions etc.
Next Generation 9-1-1 Module(NGMS) – The NGMS module is in development and will be focused on industry standards as they become available, incorporate the tools designed for all legacy call methodologies, check data for Geospatial accuracy. For example PSAP boundaries.
